Will the BP454CTF fit my Chevelle or Camaro?

The 454 big block fits any GM A-body or F-body originally offered with a big block (SS Chevelles, Camaros with 396/402/427/454 options) using factory big block mounts and springs. Small block cars need conversion mounts, a big block radiator and often spring upgrades — contact us with your vehicle and we’ll spec the conversion parts.

What fuel system does the EFI need?

A pump capable of 58+ PSI — an EFI-rated in-tank pump or an inline booster system. Everything else (ECU, sensors, wiring) is installed on the engine. We stock EFI-ready tanks and pumps for classic GM chassis.

What transmission pairs with a 460 HP big block?

The 479 TQ calls for strength: a built TH400, 4L80E, TKO 600 or T56 Magnum depending on your goals. Converter stall recommendation is 2,000–2,400 RPM for automatics. Tell us your setup and we’ll advise.
