Workshop Service — Kessel, NL

Suspension Repair & Setup

Clunks, wandering steering, uneven tyre wear — or a full coilover setup for street, strip or circuit. Repaired right, aligned to race spec, corner-weighted on our scales.

What We Repair & Fit

Everything between the chassis and the tyre — from a single worn ball joint to a complete performance setup.

🔧

Worn Component Repair

Ball joints, bushings, tie rods, control arms, wheel bearings, shocks and struts — diagnosed properly, replaced with quality parts.

🏎️

Coilovers & Lowering

Coilover kits, lowering springs and sway bars fitted and set up — ride height, damping and preload dialed in, not just bolted on.

📏

Alignment — Street to Race

Four-wheel alignment on our race-spec rig: factory specs for daily drivers, aggressive custom geometry for track and strip.

⚖️

Corner Weighting

Scales under all four wheels, cross-weight balanced — the single biggest handling improvement most track cars never get.

🛞

Performance Packages

Complete handling packages from our shop — suspension, brakes and wheels matched as a system, fitted and aligned in one visit.

🚙

Off-Road & Heavy-Duty

Lift kits, heavy-duty springs, tow setups and 4x4 suspension — aligned and headlight-aimed afterwards, as it should be.

Suspension Is Safety, Not Comfort

Your tyres are the only part of the car touching the road — and the suspension decides how well they do it. What a proper setup gives you:

  • Shorter braking distances — a worn shock can add metres at highway speed
  • Predictable handling — no wandering, no surprises mid-corner
  • Even tyre wear — bad geometry kills a set of tyres in months
  • Power you can use — 500 HP is pointless if the chassis can't put it down
  • Documentation — alignment printout before and after, every time
  • Honest advice — if it only needs a €40 bushing, we sell you a €40 bushing

Recognise These Symptoms?

Suspension wears gradually — most drivers adapt without noticing until the tyres tell the story. Book an inspection if you have:

  • ⚠️ Clunking or knocking over bumps
  • ⚠️ Steering wheel off-centre on a straight road
  • ⚠️ Car pulling to one side under braking
  • ⚠️ Uneven or "feathered" tyre wear
  • ⚠️ Excessive bouncing after speed bumps
  • ⚠️ Vague, wandering steering at highway speed
  • ⚠️ Nose-diving heavily under braking
  • ⚠️ Squeaks or groans when turning at low speed

Common Questions

The classic test: push down hard on each corner and release — the car should rise and settle once, not bounce. But the real signs are longer braking distances, a "floaty" feel over undulating roads, and cupped tyre wear. Shocks typically fade between 80,000–100,000 km — gradually enough that most drivers never notice until they feel new ones.

Not when done properly. A quality coilover kit or matched springs with correct damping, aligned afterwards, drives better than stock. What ruins cars is cut springs, wrong spring rates and skipping the alignment — that's when you get broken CV joints, tramlining and destroyed tyres. We only fit setups we can stand behind.

Street specs prioritise tyre life and stability. Track geometry trades some of that for grip: more negative camber, specific toe settings, sometimes more caster. Tell us how the car is actually used and we align it for that — and give you both spec sheets so you can switch seasonally if you want.

Corner weighting balances how much weight each wheel carries by adjusting the suspension per corner. For street cars it's a nice-to-have; for track and race cars it's the difference between a car that turns left and right equally and one that doesn't. If you've fitted coilovers for competition use, it's the essential final step.

Yes — our shop stocks suspension components from premium performance to OEM-grade, and parts we supply and fit carry a combined parts + labour warranty. You're also welcome to bring quality parts you've bought yourself; we fit them with our labour warranty.
